So, who's the shit hole country now?

I don't know why I bother looking this stuff up anymore. So, the United States is "opening up", which is a very lose term at this point, since many states barely closed down to begin with. Point is, despite the fact that the United States does not have COVID-19 under control in any shape, way, or form, the government's thrown in the towel.

COVID-19 has killed more Americans than World War I. I don't even have words left. How do you screw up a pandemic response this poorly?
