After nearly half a year, I remembered to check back in with Pillowfort, and lo and behold, it's somehow still puttering along, but there hasn't been much activity in most of their communities. Honestly, I'm not that surprised, given that fandom has become more fractured than ever. Tumblr, despite the exodus, continues to march on. People on DW are still cross posting to LJ. Instagram has become commission artists' hub for self-promotion. Also, so, so much of fandom has moved over to the bunghole of the internet that is Twitter it's kind of annoying. And TikTok fancam has taken over as the new AMVs.

Point is, I don't think Pillowfort is going to be the bastion of fandom and therefore I haven't been active over there. However, I did see an exercise in the FandomOlds community (which was stolen from Tumblr, b/c Tumblr is still a thing) there that I thought was pretty interesting.
