We have 5 seasons of this show on the central national television during prime time broadcast. (For context, CCTV1 is a free broadcast channel that's guaranteed access to anyone anywhere in China's borders as long as they have a TV with bunny ears.)
Why are we such nerds? And why is this so ridiculously entertaining?

As I like to joke with my friends, where others have X-treme sports, China has X-treme math. There's even commentators, which is just weird, because the contestants are just calculating, what is there to commentate on? 😵
