Some of each... are you looking for recs for BL entertainment biz stories? I haven't read any lately, but previous ones I've got fairly deep impressions of are:
《巨星问鼎[重生]》作者：莫晨欢 -- The career parts of this story was pretty good, IIRC. The romance bit was a bit juvenile, but made up for by the fact that it's got several explicit and steamy smut scenes. (Feels like it was written by someone who's lived outside CN and originally posted outside CN censorship.)
巨星是个系统 by 木兰竹 -- Again, the entertainment bits are good. The romance is...kinda bleh, feels like the author tacked it on midway as an afterthought. The academia bits will probably suck for you though.
穿书后我成了锦鲤影帝 by 鱼之水 -- Em... I have this saved in my bookmarks but I honestly can't remember the details.
不红就要继承家业[重生] by 长生君 -- Ditto this one... I vaguely think this one might be more humor based but can't be sure.
