Watching a bunch of PVs between small down times

I'm editing papers again, so I've been watching in short bursts. This is really just a more note to self thing because I like to categorize my preferences. Anyway.

Obsession:

These guys are ridiculous and I love them for it, do not touch them, miHoyo, they are perfectly precious as they are, if you hurt them I will cut you:

I like them as long as they stay part of the secondary cast:

Make these guys go away 🤮:

I don't know these characters but the game is trying too hard to make me like them and now I resent them taking up developer resources:

Conclusion: I definitely have a type.

Hm... Maybe I should look into the Belobog arc and see if I can find Dan Heng interesting. Clearly the Luofu arc did him no favors.

Jing Yuan would've been up there, but his gameplay dragged him down.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed to hear that JY sucked gameplay wise. Like, he just didn't feel fun to use, which is a real gut-punch when his character (plot-wise) is so insanely badass.

It's also the little things outside of cutscenes... Like the scientist (stalker) fan club he has going on Herta's Space Station. Him fighting in Belobog's underground fight ring as "Cold Dragon Young" and the subsequent fan club from that to which we sold signed photos of him. The way he practically laid in a swamp to document some interesting alien critter. XD
