Honestly, I'm at the point where I can't even tell if that's a good idea or bad idea anymore. On the one hand, they absolutely suck at storytelling and quite frankly, they might as well not spend an atrocious amount of time on the writing if it's going to suck anyway. On the other hand, if I'm just playing the game for pure aesthetic reasons, there are so many other games out there that are way, way prettier and offer the shiny in a way that I like, which begs the question of why I'm playing this game at all.
The thing is, I kind of enjoy the Asura race. I like that there's an engineering class. But it's very little to keep me entertained. I want to be able to use my pistol/shield on my engineer more, but I am having very little fun actually playing the game. I get more fun out of my phone game at this point. At least I'm not ridiculously frustrated all the time. It's part of the reason why I feel so little motivation to actually push through. And while I'm all "yay, cats", I haven't actually bothered recruiting cats, because...well... Just...what is even the point?
