cashewSo...cashew has an elevated temperature. Basically, my temperature is higher than normal (I run low at 36.5°C/97.7°F instead of the usual 37°C/98.6°F that warm blooded human beings run), but it's not high enough to be considered full on fever (38.0°C/100.4°F). In fact, I've had this temperature before and went in for a check-up, only for the nurse to tell me to go home because my temperature doesn't qualify me as
(It turned out, I just had an autoimmune disease and needed radioactive treatment. Great job, American university health services! I had to go into quarantine for a week because my sweat was radioactive from the treatment. Yay... Point is, I am familiar with quarantine.)
Of course, temperature elevation could be brought on by a number of things like: stood in front of an open window when tending to the pet, slept later than usual trying to win at Plague Inc., stood in a cold hallway while doing laundry, disinfected the cold hallway after doing laundry, etc. Or I picked up COVID-19. It's 50-50, really. /s
Basically, this is just very inconvenient. The last thing I want to do is waste the health service's time because I over-reacted; so I'm monitoring this at home and hoping that this is all going to blow over because all I caught was a cold. I'm also not going anywhere for 14 days so I can practice what I preach and not be a vector for disease.
Now, to binge watch some stuff while I stay in bed...
