Google, are you serious?

So, apparently, Google's banning entire accounts for making a comment on Youtube.

My brain just exploded from the level of sheer incompetence this would take to happen. WTF am I even reading/watching? Are you fucking serious? I'm so glad that I no longer use Google services for pretty much...well, anything. Yeah, Android requires a google account, but it's a dummy account that I don't use to receive any information or sign up for any promotions or in anyway use other than to have access to my phone. I don't use Google photos to back up my pictures and I don't use Google drive to back up my other shit. I just don't trust Google with my information anymore. Everything is stored locally, and if it can't be stored locally, I move it onto a removable hard drive somehow. Fuck this cloud BS.

Look, I believe in innovation and new technology. What I don't believe in is letting private companies getting a monopoly on this stuff. Google's motto used to be "do no evil". They clearly have not been living up to that motto.
