cashew: 3/4 profile of Subaru from TRC being pretty (TRC // Pretty)
Over the course of Christmas last year, I stumbled upon "Left Tube". It's a loosely aggregated group of users who subscribe to more far left ideology — or rather, what a centrist in America might consider "far left". They're really more democratic socialists and fairly moderate left all things considered.

Anyway.

Point is, they formed a community that have one thing in common, which is to resist the messaging by the alt-right (aka Neo-Nazis) on Youtube. A lot of them formally studied philosophy and have made their points very well with respect to why the current dominance of neoliberal capitalist policies are a scourge for humankind in general. They're also very entertaining and have a flair for the dramatic, so I'm going to gather a list of videos here that I think are well argued and easy to follow.

Shaun talks about how to reach young, straight, white boys who are at risk of becoming radicalized into the alt-right

Shaun exposes Charlottesville Neo-Nazi rally

Philosophy Tube explains why Liberalism is a breeding ground for fascism

ContraPoints explains what is capitalism and its inherent problems

Innuendo Studios challenges the wisdom of "agency = good writing" through a political lens

Renegade Cut dissects pro-capitalist/pro-income inequality media

I honestly find all of these content creators' works really interesting and exhaustively researched, which is rare in the era of hot takes and performative outrage. Highly recommend everyone give these videos (and their other works) a look-see. I mean, you're stuck at home anyway, so why not check out a few youtube videos?
