Yeah, I needed some good news
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 14:15Gaming industry finally beginning to grapple with the rampant sexism that plagues it.
I'm shocked that people are actually responding instead of constant doxxing and hacking and bullying of the victims in an attempt to silence them. Maybe it's too early to be hopeful, but I'm optimistic when I hear that a CEO of a gaming company is willing to step down because the PR disaster of having a sexual abuser as the head of a company actually means something now.
I'm not saying things are going to magically become equal, but at least there's a public admission of the severe bigotry in the gaming industry and the public sentiment is finally to condemn it.
