Manga/Anime recommendation

It's a web novel that got published as a light novel then got a manga adaptation (that you can read here). You can also watch the first season of the anime at Crunchyroll. The second season production has been delayed due to COVID-19. (┬┬﹏┬┬)
The basic premise is that an average salary man in Japan died in a random mugging and was reincarnated as a slime monster in a fantasy world. In his dying moments, his muddled thoughts got converted into Unique Skills "Great Sage" and "Predator", and gained the passive abilities to resist heat and cold, regeneration, and have no pain. The story then follows the slime monster as he uses these skills (plus his gamer wisdom) to grown into an over powered character.
It's a standard isekai anime, but with the twist of a mature protagonist who thinks with his (its?) brain and who tries to solve problems through diplomacy rather than violence. It's hard to describe how refreshing it is to see such a genre take a more mature route, where diplomacy, trust, and empathy wins the day, instead of the usual bluster and boasting and fighting.
Point is, take a look at the show, I think you'll find it a fun distraction.
