Messi-saga: Se queda

Messi's officially stuck at FC Barcelona.

Summary: Bartomeu (FCB's president), refuses to uphold the contract termination clause and insist that unless Messi takes the club to court, FCB will force him to see through the rest of his contract. Messi, who has played at the club for 20 years and is therefore very reluctant to sue the club, conceded rather than go to court over what is bound to be a difficult trial.

Oh, and the media and fans have been slandering Messi publicly, questioning his loyalties and whether he "loves the club" and all sorts of nonsense. It's absolutely batshit. Fucking pro-sports is the bottom of the cesspool that is fandom. Even gaming is better by a hair's breadth. But only by a hair.
