Yeah, so because of tanithryudo's recent link to the new Pokémon theme by Zhou Shen, I started down a rabbit hole looking for better Pokémon themes and then found this:

This...this so very much encapsulates why Detective Pikachu was a fun movie. Not a good movie, but stupid Pokémon fun, packed to the brim with fanservice. Why can't video game movies all be more like this?

Also, if you have even the smallest fondness for Pokémon, you should check out Detective Pikachu. Sad!Pikachu singing the theme song is absolutely hilarious.
