XKCD hits close to home

This happens way, way too often for my peace of mind. (Not the beach house, the part where answers are never found even years later.)

So, trying to trouble shoot tech problems for parents is hard when tech requires more and more specialized knowledge and all the how-to guides are in a different language than the OS... Pain.
