I...I don't even know where to start.
Most of Avalanche survives having the plate dropped on top of them.
Alternate universe's Zack survives his Bohemian Army last stand.
EVERYTHING WAS JUST AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE FANFIC OF THE ORIGINAL FFVII.
Everything is Sephiroth's fault?!
WTF?! Just what the fucking fuck is this bullshit? I thought we were getting more or less the original fucking story, and it turns out this FFVII Complication bullshit is splitting into the realm of multi-verse now?!
Fuck you, SquareEnix. For fuck's sake, this goddamn sprawling universe does not need to be any more fucking sprawling! Just remake the original story with better graphics and voice acting, that's all anyone wanted! You piece of shit!
I'm so fucking angry I'm beyond words right now. Fuck this world. Will maybe add some more thoughtful explanation for why I'm infuriated by the changes and how it ruins the meta-commentary of the original work and destroys some of the core themes of the narrative, but I'm too fucking infuriated to actually type it out right now.
