Uh-oh, SARS-CoV-2 can be airborne
Saturday, August 8th, 2020 11:16A growing body of research has made it clear that airborne transmission of the coronavirus is possible.Uh, that's not good.

The article covers the reasons pretty clearly, but if airborne transmission is a real thing, then it's not enough to just wear masks. Indoor air needs to be HEPA filtered and cleaned to make it remotely safe for people entering indoor spaces right now. Especially with the current infection rates in...well, most of the USA.
This is probably an over-exaggeration, as to be classified as airborne, that would mean quarantine for COVID-19 need to be conducted under negative pressure rooms, which most hospitals do not have. And countries that have successfully contained COVID-19 most certainly did not isolate their patients under such stringent circumstances.
But nonetheless, I'm a bit concerned if there's any truth to this report. Paranoia is ramping up, ugh...
