Expensive Kimchi

Was yapping with Mom yesterday and she mentioned how kimchi is super expensive these days due to the high prices of nappa cabbage. Of course, after talking about it, I was suddenly struck with the urge to go buy some.

$15 for half a pound of kimchi.

WTF.

I'm getting sticker shock. I mean, I'm not saying it should be super cheap, but kimchi is not usually this expensive.

On the other hand, I should probably just be thankful that there's any kimchi to be bought given how the only other Korean store near me has banned in store shopping because of the COVID-19 insanity that's gripped the nation.
