It's the day after the Olympics and I'm still not fully recovered. Ow...

At least China matched their best non-hosted Olympic record of 38 gold. Let's hope the trend is to continue to improve and not a sudden fall down the medals table in Paris.

Now to return my attention back to the continued Messi-saga.

I hate professional sports.

Second place by 1 gold with no home field hosting advantage for either of the top two is nothing to sneeze at. :)

Oh it's definitely an achievement, although the U.S. has been doing less well than before. They got 46 golds in the two previous iterations and those Olympics had less events than Tokyo 2020.

I'm pretty pleased with everything. ^_^
