According to this post, patch 2.5 confirmed Jing Yuan was <100 years old during Quintet era. tanithryudo, can you confirm or deny this claim? Is this a thing? Am I going to have to re-think my fanfic?!

Date: 2024-09-15 07:55 (UTC)It looks around early teen-ish based on head-to-shoulder ratio (closer to Yanqing model than Dan Heng model). Given he was in the same role as Yanqing at the time, I suspect the intention was to have them at similar ages, then and now.
But even if I headcanon him to Dan Heng's comparative age, it still means for a good 50+ years of Quintet, Jing Yuan was basically a kid. So unless Dan Feng also was of a similar situation...the canon seems to be catering to the "Jing Yuan was the baby of the group" theory that fans unanimously agreed on somehow...
