Mochia, a new modern mobile browser friendly version of Neopets.

I have a butterfly cat and I already love it.

I basically played it for one day and already I'm like "Yeeeeees." Great for when you just want to go brainless for a little while. Haven't really explored how much feeding is necessary in terms of the pet stuff yet, but the connect 5 game was decently fun.

Basically, if you remember Neopets from the 90s/00s, this is exactly that. But like more limited in terms of pets available. I had a hard time picking between faerie red panda and butterfly cat, but I went with butterfly cat in the end.

Anyway.

Edit to add:

Since there really isn't a decent wiki for the game, here are my general thoughts so far after trying my hand at all the game types. Organized by region.

Treehollow

Orchard:
Free daily food, collect. Refreshed every 12 hours.

Wooden Wheel:
Reward is usually less than the payment for spinning, not worth it.

Beast's Den:
Depends on luck if you can steal something. Doesn't cost anything to try, so might as well.

Snarf:
Easier to play with mouse than on phone.

Loose Lambs:
Easier to play on phone than with mouse.

Garden:
Grow seeds for more fruit. Not yet sure if payout is worth the effort.

Slumbergrove:
Succeeded with a banana. No clue if any food item works or I just got super lucky... Confirmed: I got lucky. No idea how to do it again.

The Coop:
Seems like money sink.

Bundles & Shimmering Stream:
Lumped these two together since it seems to be an unlock thing for new map. Will take a while to unlock.

Rectify:
3 times per day, do on hard mode for best reward. Pretty simple puzzle.

Buzzle:
3 times per day, do on hard mode for best reward. Pretty simple puzzle.

Airia

Leapscape:
Platforming physics puzzle, I suck at this.

Breezy Heights:
Haven't gotten runts or pipsqueaks yet.

Nimbus Nook:
High scores are pretty difficult. Worth it if you have time to try beating the score for a decent payout.

Shrumble:
Matching puzzle. Pretty decent payout, but takes a while to play. Line up same type of mushrooms with rainbow mushroom for high points.

Sugar Rush:
Easier to play with mouse than on phone.

Sky Hires:
3 times a day, the faster you finish the better the reward. Recommend buying the item and having the NPC pre-located before taking on job for best pay.

Dunespire

Arid Arena:
PvP, not my cuppa.

Sandy Secrets:
Free daily item, collect.

Beach Bounce:
Easier to play on phone than with mouse.

Brick Break:
Easier to play with mouse than on phone.

Scratch:
Billiards physics game. I suck slightly less at this than Leapscape.

Fortune's Fountain:
Seems like another money sink.

Dune Dwelling:
Lootbox. Try to buy under 1k if possible. Do not recommend going over 2k. (I went over 2k and regretted.)

Rock Paper Scissors, Bamboozle, & Sumera:
All lumped together under gambling, no likey.

Ghoulery

Abandoned Mine:
Ok, really depends on your luck. Once a day "dungeon", can have good pay out, can be crappy.

Summoning Circle:
Timed quest, seems hard.

Spelunker:
Effectively flappy bird. 100% phone play better than using mouse.

Spikey Spirits:
Better to play with mouse than on phone.

Crumbling Bridge:
Once a day, increases payout of a game based on the final score. Can get very high if you're good at the game.

Spooky Sewers:
3 times a day pipe puzzle. Finally figured out the trick (do outer layer tiles first), worth doing on Hard.

Riskit:
Nope, not worth it.

Whisperwood

Mushroom Cave:
Daily free mushroom, collect.

Flower Wheel:
Money sink.

Comet Rush:
Timed clicker, about same between phone and using mouse.

Risen Fall:
Gambling, no likey.

Fruit Blast:
Easier with mouse than on phone.

Radiant Revival:
Easier with mouse than on phone.

Clock Tower:
Once a day sliding puzzle, rewards buffs.

Enspell:
2048 puzzle but with letters, equally easy on phone and using keyboard. Takes a long time to play.

Stellara:
Lines puzzle, similar difficulty on phone and with mouse. Takes a long time to play.

Blocksmith:
3 times per day, sliding block puzzle. Haven't figured out Hard level, but medium level payout is about same as hard level in other 3x/day puzzles.

Flakefall

Hot Springs:
Twice a day, heals pet after injury.

Ice Fishing:
Free daily item, collect.

Percy's House:
Connect 5 game. Pretty fun.

Snowstopper:
Equally difficult on phone and with mouse. Hate this game.

Glyphix:
3 times a day, tile flip puzzle. Solve one row at a time. Hard level not always solvable. Reload to get new puzzle.

Frostwind Cave:
Once a day very simple mastermind puzzle. Solve within three moves possible unless you screw up. Solving within two moves requires luck.

Matchicle:
Memory puzzle. Hate.

Icepix:
3 times a day, baby's sudoku-style puzzle. Do hard difficulty for highest reward.

Conclusion

Some stuff to keep in mind:

  1. There is a cap on the amount of money (or MP as it's called) awarded on each game. Seems to be roughly somewhere between 4k and 5k.

  2. Single payout caps out at 1500, so unless trying to unlock an associated avatar, no reason to keep pushing the high score beyond max payout per game.

  3. While all games are playable on touch screen (aka phone or tablet), not all games play nice with mouse+keyboard; in fact, some games are out right terrible using m+kb, such as Loose Lambs & Beach Bounce, due to multi-tapping being a significantly better strategy than single clicking.

  4. Total game-based payout (across all maps) is around 35k per day. Fastest for me is running Loose Lambs, Stellera, and Spikey Spirits, because I can get get max pay out on each of those games pretty quickly. Then I fill the remainder with Spelunker, Enspell, Brick Break, Shrumble, Snarf as I try to go for high score on those games.

  5. Of the stationary puzzles, I've figured out how to complete them relatively fast on hard except Blocksmith. I've taken to doing Blocksmith on medium due to being terrible at block puzzles.

Earning 50k per day is definitely doable. Also definitely play the stock market game. Trade is limited to only 100 shares, so you're unlikely to loose that much. There's a graph tracking the rise and fall. The spike and crash is pretty regular and predictable (unlike real stock market).

What's the art style like? It won't let me load the pets page without signing in/linking accounts.
