Men suck...and continue to suck.

First, am very happy with seeing new explanations for "how a wormhole works":

While the comments under this video were mostly positive, there's always one guy who has to be a misogynistic turd.

Let's go over what's wrong here:

1. Says he doesn't want to be the salty guy, then proceed to be salty and shit over other people for submitting their ideas when he didn't even bother to participate in the challenge.

2. Ranks the #1 explanation as the worst of the winners by ignoring the vastly increased production effort compared to other submissions.

3. Ignores the importance of how the Glow-stick explanation was more scientifically accurate than the water bottle explanation.

4. Ignores the creativity of using a ring to simulate the traveling individual/spaceship to better visualize the concept of "distance traveled".

5. Belittles the fact that the #1 winner bothered to not only explain the science, but also came up with a movie-compatible scenario.

Now, of course, the glow-stick idea is not that different from what A Wrinkle in Time has already done with yarn, but that's kind of the point. It's not that there's anything fundamentally wrong with pencil-through-paper explanation, but rather that explanation in movies always comes down to pencil-through-paper. Hell, movie makers aren't even willing to go with skewer-through-bacon just to add some spice, and that's what this challenge is supposed to be addressing.

And it doesn't escape me at all that it was the woman's submission that got the BS salty response.

Anyway...back to trying to write Pokévengers... I'm stuck on a ghost Pokémon encounter. 😣
