Got third jab. Nurse said it'll take 2 weeks to kick in. With my shitty immune system, who knows if it'll generate the antibodies on schedule. 🙄 Sequestering for the foreseeable future, because Omicron and I'm not taking any chances with that B.S.

The worst part of the vaccination was the wait. The first two shots went super smoothly. I arrived, checked in, jabbed, sat for 20 minutes, then went on my merry vaccinated way. Third jab was just the pits. So much waiting, standing in line forever and just...ugh. There's like a total of 3 nurses working the clinic (compared to the near 20 nurses that ran the first vaccination drive). At this rate, the U.S. is never reaching 70% vaccination rates. Blech.

Maybe we should get courses that teach us how to vaccinate ourselves. I mean, how hard can it be? Diabetes patients jab themselves with insulin shots all the time. (If I can learn how to draw blood from a rodent's cardiac ventricle in under a month, I think I can learn how to inject myself with a needle into a major muscle group.)

Meanwhile, am so, so ridiculously tired. I don't even understand. I can barely keep my eyes open. WTF?
