Tokyo Olympics 2021 Open Ceremony

...well, that was terrible. I would say this is probably the worst opening ceremony in recent memory. They really should have just postponed it again, cancelled altogether, or at the very least vaccinate your damn volunteers. (Tokyo Olympics deploys only half-vaccinated volunteers.) Like...wow, not OK. Not OK at all.

Basically, the only thing that I liked was the video game music medley during the march of nations. Also, I recognized a scary amount of the soundtrack. I've played too many JRPGs. LOL. Also, I, too, am surprised at the surprising lack of Nintendo representation. Like, Super Mario Bros. should definitely be showing up. Did Nintendo deny the license as protest against the games or something?

Anyway, this is going to be a terrible Olympics, I can just feel it. (Won't stop me from watching the events tho'. Because reasons.)

Meh, there's one segment that was kind of fun, but over all, no, not really worth watching. I got up at ridiculous hours for nothing.
