Ending the year on a positive note

It's the last day of the year. 2022 will come with new challenges, but at least 2021 is behind us. Another successful 365 days. "Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive." — as my hero in Godville wrote.

I also ended the year watching a pretty fun anime, Sk8 the Infinity (SK∞ エスケーエイト). It's ridiculous and over the top and melodramatic and I love it. It's not some great work that will inspire you to deeply contemplate life, but it is a good anime that achieves what it sets out to do, which is a little slice of life, coming-of-age, sports anime that provides a bit of beefcake fanservice, and sometimes that's all anyone wants.

I highly recommend watching just for the fun of it.
