Acute gastroenteritis

Just spent 36 hours fasting with no food and minimal water because dad caught the stomach bug from someone and spread it to us and now our entire family is bedridden. Gastroenteritis feels like the world's worst case of car sickness, with nausea, stomach ache, vomiting, and a hell of a headache from dehydration. So...

Now, I'm more or less recovered, other than feeling like I want to keel over at any given second because I've had no food for so long and my blood pressure is low AF. Meanwhile, parents still can't eat solid foods.

I haven't been keeping track, but I feel like I've been sick for as long as I've been healthy since moving. This is...less than ideal.

Ouch. Hang in there. There's no like nutrition IV drip or something like it that could be used to make up for the lack of food?

We're sadly not sick severely enough to warrant hospitalization, so the doctor told us to tough it out. Yay...
